Big Game at Delta Park
Portland lacrosse is back on track after a rough trip to Orange County. After a long drive to Caldwell Idaho, Portland lacrosse is now 2-0 in conference and looking forward to playing next weekend. The next game is the conference championship rematch against Western Oregon. The game has been moved to 7 pm Saturday (April 8) at delta park ( only a 10 minute drive from campus). Western Oregon always travels well, so a good fan turnout could be the difference in the game
The Home Stretch
Portland lacrosse had a tough
road trip in California and is now focusing on finishing the season strong.
There are only three games remaining and playoff seeding is on the line.
Next week, the team has a long drive out to College of Idaho and then plays the
division champions on April 14th at home.
Strong Start to Spring Ball
Portland lacrosse started the
year with a disappointing performance against a strong Missionary team, but
rebounded the next weekend with two impressive performances against PLU and
Humboldt State. The team has been gearing up for a game this week against
their in town rivals. The game is Saturday the 18th at 1 on Portland
State’s turf field.
Fall Ball Recap
Portland lacrosse had a productive and memorable fall ball season this year. In the Laredo Tournament, the team played six games in two days and finished with 4 wins and 2 losses. It was great for the team to get back on the field again.
A few weeks
later, the team traveled down to Salem to play Southern Oregon and Willamette
University. The team ended up winning both
games that day. The entire team gives a
big hand to Willamette for hosting a great event. The next day, Oregon State was kind enough to
travel to Prusynski Field for a rainy Sunday afternoon scrimmage. The teams ended up playing four periods
with the Beavers winning 11-8.
Fall Ball 2011
Pilots lacrosse has been working hard the past few weeks, to be ready for fall ball this year. This fall the team will be participation in two tournaments.. The officials Laredo Tournament is Oct. 1st and 2nd at Hillsboro Stadium. Willamette is also hosting a tournament on Oct. 29th.
Pilots Great Postseason
Pilots Men's Lacrose had a great showing in the PNCLL D2 playoffs this year. For the first time in program history, Pilots Lacrosse made it all the way to the conference finals. The team wishes the best of luck to the Wolves in Denver.
Pilots Gearing Up for Central Washington
The
Pilots have been hard at work practicing for their Sunday game against
Central Washington. If you missed last week's game against Western
Washington, you can watch it in our media portion of the website, or on the ever popular MCLA FAN website

Game Day at UP
Jan 31, 2010- The University of Portland opening weekend 2011 this weekend with games between PSU and WWU, to be followed by a game between UP and WWU. In between games, we will be hosting a clinic for Eastside Portland Lacrosse, a local youth lacrosse club. Game recap, photos and video highlights to follow to the game....
Pilots Lacrosse Gaining Traction at UP
With generous donations made by UP to help the team further itself, the Men's Lacrosse team is getting attention here on campus. In the Fall the school purchased nets to allow the team to call Prusynski Field home.

About
The University of Portland Men's Lacrosse club competes in the MCLA and is a member of the PNCLL Division II South Conference. As a fourth year program, we are looking to build on the previous season. Our roster is comprised primarily of freshman and sophomores; currently we have over 20 student athletes on our roster. Our home field for practices and games is Prusynski Field, a new turf field facility complete with practice lighting, backup netting, and lacrosse specific lines. We view ourselves as a virtual varsity program, striving to compete a high level.
